Hello, I’m so happy you’re here!

Hi! I’m Carly and I am the Owner and Lead Coordinator here at Carats and Confetti. I love all things weddings! My own wedding was Christmas themed, complete with a visit from the one and only, Santa Claus. C + C was born shortly after my wedding when I realized how much less stressed I would have been if I would have had someone like myself running the show day-of.

During the ‘typical’ workweek you’ll find me in the classroom teaching fifth and sixth graders. My background in elementary education has taught me how to think on my feet to overcome any challenge and multitask, like no other! You won’t believe how similar it is to coordinate a wedding and keep a classroom full of ten year olds running smoothly.

I live with my husband Stevie and our two year old son, Calvin. Our last name is Heras, pronounced like Harris. Fun fact… My husband and I met in a pool in Las Vegas and named our son after Calvin Harris.

Meet Haley!

My name is Haley and I am a lead Coordinator here at Carats and Confetti. As a senior in high school, I helped my mom plan her wedding and was essentially her go to person for everything before, during, and after the wedding. Looking back on it now, I did a darn good job. I am an organizing and planning freak in all facets of life, so how could I resist putting those skills towards weddings!

Like Carly, I spend my Monday through Friday in a classroom. I embarrass myself in front of 11 + 12 year olds on the daily. Being an educator teaches you a lot about problem solving for all of the things; even things you’d never expect. Turns out, 12 year olds and wedding parties aren’t all that different. ;)

I live with my boyfriend, Sammy, and our two dogs Chewie + Rubeus. And yes, they are named after what you think, Star Wars and Harry Potter.
